Combination of oil paint on canvas and twigs, rocks, and grasses to depict night in a wood and a stream flowing down an incline. Some twigs are painted to depict trees, and some rocks lightly touched to integrate them with the flowing water. The scene is imagined (not based on a photo). My intent was to create a scene of beauty, mood, and that evokes the sounds of night.
