The Weight of Wounds

The creation of acrylic painting, "The Weight of Wounds", was a deeply emotional process, a canvas where emotions flowed freely through every brushstroke. With a restricted palette of red, white, and black, I aimed to distill the essence of inner turmoil and resilience. The choice of red, a vivid symbol of both pain and vitality, formed a backdrop against the stark contrast of white and the solemn depth of black. The central element, a fragmented visage rendered in controlled splatters, serves as a metaphor for the invisible burdens we carry. The face, marred by unseen struggles, embodies the profound depths of human experience.
